Yes! Shreyashfoundation is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. All donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. You'll receive a receipt for your records after making a donation.
95% of all donations go directly to our programs: purchasing books and school supplies, funding tutoring materials, and organizing community events. Only 5% covers minimal administrative costs like website hosting and printing materials. We publish quarterly financial reports for full transparency.
Absolutely! While Shreyashfoundation started at Lincoln Middle School, we welcome students from any school in the Springfield area. Many of our volunteers come from different schools across the district. It's a great way to earn community service hours too!
Yes, we gladly accept gently used books and new school supplies! You can drop off donations at Lincoln Middle School during school hours (ask for the front office) or contact us to arrange a pickup for larger donations. We especially need: notebooks, pencils, erasers, folders, and age-appropriate books for grades K-8.
