How one experience changed everything—and sparked a mission
My name is Shreyash Reddy Konda, and I am an 8th grader who believes every child deserves to feel seen, valued, and celebrated.
During my visits to India, I met children who had never celebrated their birthdays. That experience changed me. I realized that something as simple as a birthday can give a child joy, confidence, and a sense of belonging.
That's why I started this foundation—to ensure that every child deserves a birthday they'll never forget. We celebrate birthdays for children without traditional family support while also raising funds for their education and nutrition.
My mission is simple: turn forgotten birthdays into moments of joy, hope, and belonging.

Shreyash founded the Shreyash Foundation after witnessing children in India who had never celebrated their own birthdays. Moved by their stories, he set out to create a nonprofit that brings joy and dignity to every child—starting with something as simple as a birthday celebration.
Beyond birthdays, Shreyash is passionate about supporting children's education, school supplies, and nutrition. His belief is simple: when a child feels valued, they believe they can achieve anything.
